After a recent developer deep dive into The Division Heartland, Ubisoft have confirmed an upcoming closed beta for PC and console.
Last week saw Ubisoft release a six-minute deep dive showing off some gameplay for their upcoming The Division Heartland. The free-to-play PvPvE game set in The Division universe is yet to receive an update but has been confirmed to be getting a closed beta.
The Division Heartland Is a Survival Game
The six-minute gameplay teaser showed off what we can expect from the upcoming title. Mainly that Heartland is set to be a survival game at its core. With The Division franchise usually being a lot different, players can now expect to protect the town of Silver Creek in a day/night cycle.
In the day you can explore the vast map and take on a series of missions. At night, prepare your squad and take on enemy factions in a contaminated world.
With a class system including a Weapons Expert, Medic and Survivalist each offering unique abilities, players will be at an advantage when working together.
Additionally, the deep dive also showed us the dehydration mechanic that can be expected from survival games. Not only that, but you will also be able to manage a base of operations that you can share with others to prepare for upcoming missions.
Closed Beta Details
