Pokemon Legends: Arceus is already being streamed online on YouTube and Twitch, despite not being released yet. Stay safe out there, gamers!
Last week, we warned you that Pokemon Legends: Arceus spoilers were out in the wild. Following on from that, the game has actually been datamined. This means that the ENTIRE game, from story and gameplay details, to screenshots and more leaking on the internet.
Some gamers that have early copies have taken it a step further. As reported by Nintendo News, some Pokefans are streaming the game on social media platforms. With the whole game being datamined, it’s possible that some of these streamers are running ROM versions of Pokemon Legends: Arceus via emulation.
“It seems as though a few people who received the game early have uploaded the game to illegal ROM sites, which means that Pokemon Legends: Arceus is now playable via an emulator,” reports Nintendo News.
“Some of those who have downloaded the ROMs have been freely live streaming the game on Twitch and as I type there are people online playing through it and streaming the full game to a small number of viewers.”
Pokemon Legends: Arceus will be released for the Nintendo Switch this week on Friday, January 28th. At time of writing, there’s only a few days left to wait! If you want to avoid spoilers it might be worth avoiding Pokemon related keywords, especially on YouTube and Twitch.
