Halo Infinite multiplayer has launched early, and Season 1 has come with it. You might be concerned that an early start means less time to get to work on unlocking the contents of the battle pass. Worry not, you actually have more time than you did before. Here is everything you need to know about Halo Infinite Season 1.
The original plan for seasons was to have each one last for three months. However, as explained by Joseph Staten in this blog post, the team at 343 felt they needed more time to put together season two’s content. As such Season 1, Heroes of Reach, has been extended until the 2nd of May 2022.
“We made the decision to extend Season 1 to give ourselves more time to ensure Season 2 meets our high quality bar and so we can finish development for Season 2 in a healthy and sustainable way for our team.”
This means players have nearly six months to work their way through Season 1’s battle pass. 343 have said that they plan to expand Season 1, rather than stretch out the intended content. As well as the battle pass, the first Fractures event of Halo Infinite begins on the 23rd of November. This event is titled “Tenrai”, and will give players the chance to unlock the Yoroi armour core, a samurai-inspired look.
Players now have plenty of time to work their way through the season one battle pass. Useful considering the game is new and we still have the campaign to come next month. Should you need more time to finish the battle pass, don’t worry it won’t go anywhere. To learn more on that, check out our battle pass guide!
