PlayStation Plus Essential free games for May
Grid Legends is a racing game originally released in 2022. The fifth instalment in the Grid series features “thrilling action, incredible variety, and innovative ways to enjoy the excitement of motorsport”. It features over 130 routes to speed along, a Race Creator that allows you to create your own races and cross-play functionality.
However, this title is already free for EA play members across all platforms.
Chivalry 2 is a multiplayer hack-and-slash action game first released back in 2021. As the sequel to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, this sequel is inspired by “epic medieval movie battles.”
Supporting cross-play for all platforms, Chivalry 2 features everything you expect from a medieval adventure including clashing swords, flaming arrows and the occasional castle siege. With 64-player battlefields, you can become an epic knight and master the blade.
Last but not least, Descenders is a cycling video game released back in 2020 for all platforms. Giving the player the ability to take on extreme downhill freeriding, you can lead your team to glory and become the ultimate Descender.
With procedurally generated worlds making no map the same, Descenders promises freestyle bike controls, a wide range of abilities for your bike and even an in-depth physics system.
