When Nate and Sam reach Scotland in chapter 8 of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, they’ll reach the graveyard that contains the supposed last resting place of famed pirate Henry Avery, which also contains the next clue to finding the secret treasure.
However, if you’ve reached the graveyard puzzle in Uncharted 4 and are struggling to find Henry Avery’s grave, here’s our handy guide to finding it.
HOW TO SOLVE the GRAVEyard PUZZLE
The puzzle can be found during Chapter 8 “The Grave of Henry Avery”. After you and Sam have been scaling cliffs and fighting off bad guys, you’ll come to an old graveyard that contains many graves dating back to the middle ages. Among these tombstones will be Henry Avery’s grave. To find it, you need to ensure three bits of information all appear on the same grave.
The requirements for Henry Avery’s grave are these three pieces of info: a Skull and Crossbones, two crossed swords that are pointed down, and the dates 1659-1699. Search for a grave that has those three things on, and you’re golden.
WHERE TO FIND AVERY’S GRAVE
If you want the actual answer, you can find Avery’s grave by heading straight forward from the entrance to the graveyard. It’ll be towards the edge of the plot of land. We’ve marked the location below to give you a good idea of where to find it.
Interacting with the grave will cause the brothers Drake to activate a hidden passage to the crypts below. And that’s how you solve the graveyard puzzle in Uncharted 4!
