Epic Games have released another teaser for their upcoming Fortnite season. This one features the game’s new character set against a new map.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will be released tomorrow so this will be our final glimpse before we get the full product. The new image released via the Fortnite Twitter account confirms a long-awaited crossover with Attack on Titan. This comes in the form of the show’s Eren Yeager.
Let’s look at the details
The image shows Eren Yeager front and centre with the bustling new map in front of him. The city is bustling with neon lights and tall buildings. Eren is wearing what appears to be a new anime skin coming to the game although we are unsure if this will be the final look.
Previously, leaks have suggested that Yeager will be part of the Battle Pass as a bonus character. However, if this proves to be untrue, he could follow in the footsteps of Geralt of Rivia who was available in the current season. This means players will need to complete a set of challenges in order to unlock Yeager.
This new image confirms what fans have been speculating up until now – a neo-Tokyo aesthetic. It was earlier this week that popular Fornite leaker, HYPEX drew attention to the season’s possible title. It appears as though many leakers were correct as the new teaser image clearly shows ‘MEGA’ written on a towering building.
What to expect in the fortnite new season
As mentioned, chapter 4 season 2 will arrive tomorrow. It will feature a brand new Battle Pass complete with 100 ranks. This will be joined with new challenges, skins and maybe even events if past seasons have been anything to go by.
Furthermore, the season could introduce skins dedicated to Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. We might also see the introduction of first-person mode. You can read more about these new additions here!
