Sony has announced it will be bringing its PS4 exclusive God of War to PC on 14th January.
God of War was released back in 2018, where the game has seen a massive success. Many gamers regard it as one of the platform’s best games, and a sequel called Ragnarok is coming sometime next year.
Bringing God of War to PC is just another step in Sony’s recent initiative to release more of its exclusives on the platform. Previously it released Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone on there, while it also plans to release Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy sometime in 2022.
News of God of War also joining the fray excites me. I’ve always primarily been a PC gamer so many of these PS4-exclusive titles have gone under my radar until recently. While this will be good news for many, I’m sure a lot of us are still asking: where the heck is Bloodborne?
God of War will release on Steam on 14th January, 2022. Some of the PC-exclusive features include “High Fidelity Graphics”, “NVIDIA® DLSS and Reflex Support” and “Ultra-wide Support”.
Horizon Zero Dawn’s PC port was a little shaky at first, but it got there in the end after a few patches. Meanwhile, I was really impressed with the PC port of Days Gone so it’ll be nice to see how this one turns out.
