Fortnite Doctor Who crossover details may have been leaked

With a Doctor Who x Fortnite crossover allegedly set to happen later this year, leaks have been posted letting us know what we can expect. 

Information of the supposed crossover event between Doctor Who and Fortnite have continued to seep through the Internet. However, it now seems a bit more likely thanks to recent leaks detailing some of the cosmetics that might be available. 

This news comes courtesy of well-known Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey who shared initial findings last week. Now a combination of screenshots and file details have gone into further detail about the event. 

This may launch to celebrate the upcoming 60th anniversary of Doctor Who later this year.

The Item Shop cosmetics apart of the Doctor Who x Fortnite collaboration would be:

Outfits:
– Fourteenth Doctor
– Fifteenth Doctor

Glider:
– Tardis

Emote:
– Psychic Paper

Pickaxe:
– Sonic Staff
– Dalek Manipulator Arm

Fortnite Doctor Who Crossover Details

The leaks suggest that players may be able to take on the role of either the Fourteenth Doctor, David Tennant or the newest, Ncuti Gatwa. Additionally, the leaks hint at a two-week event that will feature free cosmetics as well as purchasable items. 

Furthermore, it looks as though players will be able to get their hands on skins for the aforementioned Doctors as well as a TARDIS glider and an emote. The emote will feature the Doctor’s Psychic Paper.

More free rewards will include a Time Vortex trail and a Sonic Screwdriver wielding emote.

The Fortnite map itself looks to be getting Doctor Who themes such as outposts guarded by UNIT guards armed with sci-fi looking weapons. Leaks have also pointed to the event having some story details that link to the upcoming Doctor Who series.

Yes, more. iFireMonkey also mentions that an in-game paid bundle could be made available with the codename “Drums”. Fans of the sci-fi franchise think this may be alluding to the Doctor Who villain The Master. This is mainly because said villain was tortured by a drumbeat in his head.

As mentioned, these are merely leaks and allegations so we can take all this information with a pinch of salt. However, it is looking pretty believable and would be a great way for Fortnite gamers to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who.
