There’s nothing better than when fans bring together two of the biggest titles in gaming, and that’s just what’s happening with Mojang’s Minecraft and Valve’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
A group of Minecraft pros have banded together to recreate a bunch of CS:GO maps within the crafting game, and the results are all we could have hoped for.
Although it’s a little jarring to think of the FPS entering the world of Minecraft, the results are seriously impressive. As always, the Minecraft community continues to impress with the creativity, dedication and skill shown by lots of the players of the 10-year-old game. It’s just one of the things that makes Minecraft one of the best games of all time.
First up we have one of Counter-Strike’s most memorable maps of all time: Dust2. Remade in Minecraft by user CrafterKolyan [via Dexerto], the attention to detail in here is actually a little – dare I say – breathtaking. The map even includes actual working weapons, along with hand grenades and a big ol’ bomb.
Another CS:GO map that’s been made in Minecraft is the one and only Nuke. A user by the name of Codre went the extra mile to even recreate similar lighting to give the Minecraft Nuke a total feeling of CS:GO immersion.

Redditor bebetheupdateman has also undergone the challenge of bringing CS:GO’s Vertigo map to Minecraft. Again, the attention to detail is second to none. Check it out below.

There’s also a million other maps, skins and other goodies created by the Minecraft community that you can discover for yourself here. Just a few of the offerings include a PvP map, Mirage and character skins.
You’ll be able to find all of these maps – and download them for yourself – over on the PlanetMinecraft website right here.
