Warframe is set to receive a major update this week as The Duviri Paradox launches. Here’s everything you need to know before release.
Warframe is a free-to-play action role-playing third-person shooter that allows players to build and control their own Warframe. This gives them access to tactical abilities, countless loadouts and unique abilities.
Warframe The Duviri Paradox Update
This month will see even more added with The Duviri Paradox update that launches on April 26. This huge open world experience will add a rogue-like style quest to the game. The update has been previously delayed with no reasoning but this month is definitely the time to strap back into your Warframe.
The update promises new gameplay mechanics, an abundance of unlockable items and story progression for its fanbase. Ultimately, The Duviri Paradox allows you to play two paths – that of your original frame as well as The Drifter.
Both playable characters will have different experiences throughout the new update and you will be able to play both regardless. Being able to play as The Drifter as well as an update that promises new story content is definitely intriguing.
Gameplay choices
Once you have completed these quests, you will then be presented with three choices. These will determine what kind of content you would like to play in the new open world map. Here is the three choices you can decide between:
- The Circuit – an endless game mode for Warframes only
- The Duviri Experience – full open world adventure
- The Lone Story – solo narrative experience
Weapon upgrading & Melee Upgrades
The Duviri Paradox also brings with it upgrades to melee abilities for The Drifter. There will now also be upgrades known as ‘Decrees’ as well as a new Incarnon Genesis System. This system allows you to upgrade certain weapons as well as access a bunch of side activities.
Overall, this new upgrade promises a lot of new and exciting content for the Warframe community. Make sure to grab it when it launches on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch on April 26.
