The PlayStation Plus Essential games have been announced for February 2023 and it’s another great month for subscribers.
Sony was already off to a great start with the PS Plus Essential offerings for January 2023. However, this month looks to top that with a fantastic line-up of games.
Here are the February PS Plus games for 2023:
Destiny 2: Beyond Light (PS5/PS4): In Beyond Light, players will travel to Jupiter to face Fallen Kell Eramis, who plans to harness the power of the Darkness to save her people. However, she also looks to take revenge on the Traveler who she had thought abandoned her during humanity’s Golden Age.
What’s more, Beyond Light brings a new Darkness subclass, as well as new gear, weapons, PvP maps, and a Raid. If you’ve not yet jumped into Destiny or haven’t played it for a while, now might be a perfect time.
It’s time to get evil with friends!
Evil Dead: The Game (PS5/PS4): This is the game that I’m looking forward to playing most this month. Despite being a fan of the movie series, I’ve been hesitant when it comes to buying this game.
As with most asymmetrical multiplayer games, its online player base can often dwindle. However, with extra players brought in via PS Plus, while offering co-op modes and PvP combat, Evil Dead: The Game could be the most perfect addition to the PS Plus games of February 2023.
OlliOlli World (PS5/PS4): Developed by Roll7, OlliOlli World is the third game in this beloved indie darling series. OlliOlli World is a side-scrolling skateboard game with a twist.
Not only will this game appeal to fans of the Tony Hawk’s series that enjoy performing slick tricks, but OlliOlli World has a charming world to explore with gorgeous hand-drawn pixel art visuals and an endearing story that will keep you coming back for more.
Mafia: Definitive Edition (PS4): Developed by Hangar 13, Mafia: Definitive Edition was released in 2020 and is a remake of its 2002 original built from the ground up.
Set in the fictional city of Lost Heaven (inspired by Chicago), Illinois, during the 1930s, players assume the role of Tommy Angelo. Tommy was a simple cab driver trying to make ends meet and before he knew it, he was climbing the ranks of the Salieri crime family. Mafia: Definitive Edition is a game you wouldn’t want to refuse.
Claim the PS Plus January 2023 games before it’s too late.
Finally, with the arrival of the February PS Plus Essential games next week, you don’t have long to claim January’s offerings. So you have until Monday, 6th February to claim Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (PS5/PS4), Axiom Verge 2 (PS5/PS4) and Fallout 76 (PS4).
