Resident Evil 4 Remake PC Requirements

Despite being released in 2023, the RE4 Remake will require the same specs as Resident Evil Village which was released back in 2021. This means that if you could run Village, you can easily run the latest title in the franchise.

Minimum system requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel Core i5-7500
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 560 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
  • Dedicated video memory: 4GB VRAM
  • DirectX: Version 12

These minimum requirements will run the game 1080p/45fps when using the Prioritise Performance setting. However, as these are the minimum requirements, more intense moments such as combat may experience some frame drops.

Recommended system requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7 8700
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5700 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
  • Dedicated video memory: 8GB VRAM
  • DirectX: Version 12

In comparison, the recommended settings should achieve you 1080p/60fps, according to Capcom. As these aren’t the maximum requirements, you could again see frame drops during certain moments.

Although the specs list via the Resident Evil 4 Remake Steam page doesn’t show the required storage space needed for PC, it is estimated to be around 60/70GB.
