We’re already well into December but we’ve yet to see the festive offerings from Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends. Luckily for us, it seems they’re right around the corner if recent leaks are to be believed.
As shared by Twitter user and dataminer iLootGames [via Dexerto], there definitely is some holiday cheer headed for Apex, and it even includes a Santa Claus Caustic skin.
According to the leaks, the Christmas-themed event will be called “Holo-Day,” and will include a new Limited Time Mode based on the World’s Edge train.
Along with the LTM, all of our favourite heroes will be getting holiday-themed new looks, including an Elf version of Wattson and Octane as everyone’s favourite reindeer, Rudolf.

Sadly, there’s no news on when all the new wintery goodies will be landing, but with only three weeks left of December, it’s a safe bet to assume they’re coming sooner rather than later!
In other Apex news, it seems a mobile version is still planned for the future.
Chief executive at EA, Andrew Wilson, confirmed during a recent investor call that Apex Legends for mobile won’t be launching until the fiscal year of 2021.
In normal-people-speak, that’s starting from October 1, 2020, putting a potential release date another year into the future. That should be a similar time to the release of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett, making it one of the busiest times in history for video games.
Although that’s definitely one helluva waiting time, Apex is still delivering the goods on PC and console.
