Dragon Ball: The Breakers Gets Beta Early Next Month

The asymmetrical multiplayer game Dragon Ball: The Breakers will be getting a closed beta in early December.

If you have a Steam account, you can sign up to participate in Dragon Ball: The Breakers beta test. The test will be held on the third and fourth of December.

Along with the news of the beta test, a gameplay video showed off how the Dead by Daylight-like game will work. There are two roles you can play in a match: a Survivor, or a Raider. Survivors don’t seem to play too differently from one another, but you can customise different abilities.

Abilities include things like a grappling hook, a smoke screen, and being able to disguise yourself as random items. Survivors also have the opportunity to take the souls of characters like Goku and Piccolo into them and use their powers.

The goal of Raiders is to hunt down other players and stop them from activating the Super Time Machine, which allows Survivors to escape. Raiders can power up their forms by defeating other players or NPCs.

They also have the power to destroy whole portions of the map once they’ve powered up enough. As well as this, they have a variety of passive abilities at their disposal too. At the moment it seems like Raiders might have somewhat of an advantage compared to Survivors. But we’ll have to wait and see what the beta is like to be sure.
