Bandai Namco leak suggests Elden Ring DLC and more!

A Bandai Namco data leak suggests that Elden Ring DLC as well as a new Armored Core are on the way. However, can the leaks be trusted?

Thanks to an unfortunate reported ransomware attack on Bandai Namco, huge details have apparently leaked in regards to future releases from the publisher.

ALPHV ransomware group (alternatively referred to as BlackCat ransomware group) claims to have ransomed Bandai Namco.

A group known as Alphv or BlackCat posted news of the leaks after it infiltrated Bandai Namco’s internal network. Amongst those leaked details was Elden Ring DLC, a new Armored Core game and more.

The rumours could be fake

The leaked information apparently details Bandai Namco’s 2023 release schedule. However, media outlet Dualshockers believes that the “leaked” release schedule could be fake.

In terms of the Elden Ring DLC, apparently, it’s called “Barbarians of the Badlands”. As noted by The Gamer, Badlands is an area outside of the Lands Between and is where the First Elden Lord “Godfrey” both hails from and was exiled to with the Tarnished.

Elsewhere in the leaks, it’s claimed that a new Armored Core will be released in Q1 2023. This to me seems very early, considering that this game hasn’t even been announced yet. 

Furthermore, it is also reported that Little Nightmare 3 will arrive in Q2 2023, as well as Dragonball FighterZ Super, Code Vein 2 and Tekken 8 all arrive next year. However, Dualshockers also believe that the Tekken 8 “leak” is ripped from a fan-made video.

There may be truth to Armored Core

That all being said, rumours of a new Armored Core game began circulating earlier in the year. So at least those rumours do have a degree of truth behind them.
