At The Game Awards earlier this month, Nolan presented the award for Game of the Year to The Last of Us Part 2 and recently he sat down with host of the annual awards ceremony Geoff Keighley for a fan Q&A session.

During the Q&A, a fan asked: “Would you ever want one of your films to be adapted into a video game and, if so, which one?

Nolan spoke about how complicated developing a video game is and if he’d ever be involved in a movie to video game adaptation, he wouldn’t want it to simply be something that is living off the brand name of the associated movie.

Nolan said: “You don’t want to just be doing a licensed game; you don’t want to just be tying in with something and using the brand established by the film.

The same way you don’t want, actually when people do adaptations to film from a video game, you don’t want to just draft off the brand. You want it to be something great in its own right.

But it seems that one day developing a video game is something that Christopher Nolan is “interested” in, though “it’s not something that you’d ever take on lightly.”

What Christopher Nolan movies would you like to see turned into video games? Personally I think Inception would make for a great adaptation!
