Life gets strange this holiday season.

Life Is Strange: True Colors Finally Has A Switch Release Date

After months of waiting, Life Is Strange: True Colors has finally gotten a release date on the Nintendo Switch.

Life Is Strange: True Colors will now be released on Switch on December 7, three months after its initial launch on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The game was meant to launch on Switch alongside these platforms, but it needed more time.

There is a catch with the new release date however. December 7 is only the release date for the digital version of the game on the eShop. Those looking to pick up the game physically will have to wait until February 25.

February is set to be a good month for Life Is Strange fans. As now that True Colors has a physical release date in February, it will be sharing a release month with the Life Is Strange Remastered Collection.

The Remastered Collection includes both the original Life Is Strange, as well the prequel LIS: Before the Storm. It will feature remastered visuals, like upgraded lighting and improved environments.

The Remastered Collection will also mark the first time a Life Is Strange game has been released on a Nintendo console. Being able to take heart-wrenching stories on the go is sure to make some fans cry in public. We still haven’t seen True Colors in action on Switch, so hopefully Deck Nine has had enough time to make the game run well.

We loved Life is Strange: True Colors, saying in our review that, “Alex’s story is a colourful tapestry, stitched together with the gossamer thread of what it means to be human. It’s a glimmering, supernatural journey that reminds you life really is… weird.”
