Halo Infinite players are calling for the game to have a dynamic weather system. Something that was hinted at with concept art images.
Reddit user Apprehensive-Sir829 shared a collection of concept images that appeared to imply that Halo Infinite would feature some kind of weather system. However, as fans of the game will know, such a mechanic isn’t currently available in Halo Infinite.
In the semi-open world of Zeta Halo, the map does feature its own wildlife as well as a day and night cycle. However, having a dynamic weather system would take Halo Infinite’s world to the next level of immersion.
As far as I know, 343 Industries has never hinted at Halo Infinite featuring a dynamic weather system. That being said, judging by the concept art images, the mechanic at least was a passing thought of the developers.
It’s raining, it’s pouring
The concept art images give us a taste of how much better Halo Zeta could look with a dynamic weather system. Heavy clouds, gusts of wind and rain pouring before the sun shines upon its lands. This is something that I never knew I wanted, until now.
At the time of writing, the Reddit post has nearly 5,000 upvotes with a 96% ratio. So, I am certainly not alone in the hope that 343 Industries might add such a feature to Halo Infinite one day. Is this something that can or will happen? Only time will tell.
