Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed into 2023. That’s at least according to a report for the Rocksteady Studios title.
The report is courtesy of Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier. “Warner Media has quietly delayed Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League until 2023, according to people familiar with development,” tweeted the journalist.
We always recommend to not take rumours and hearsay as fact until proven true, even if the source seems reliable.
That being said, now that it’s out in the wild, either Warner Bros or Rocksteady Studios may confirm or debunk the speculation in the coming days.
Will we see two DC games in 2022?
2022 promises to be a big year for Warner Bros. Games with the expected release of Hogwarts Legacy as well as Gotham Knights. Personally, I’ve always felt it’s a bit risky to release two big DC games in the same year. In that respect, it might make sense to release the Suicide Squad title and Gotham Knights in separate years.
Then again, Marvel released two games last year and five the year before that. So maybe that’s not the case.
