Ubisoft’s extreme sports multiplayer game, Riders Republic is free to play this weekend. So, put on your safety helmet and grab your bike!
Well, actually, you don’t have to grab your safety helmet and bike to play Riders Republic. After all, it’s a video game and not real life. Unless you’re GameByte’s own Josh Boyles and you want to go that extra mile for the immersive experience.
When can I play Riders Republic for free?
You will be able to play Riders Republic for free from this Friday, February 10th until Monday, February 14th on Valentine’s Day. Also, more importantly, that’s my birthday. So, get on ya bike Cupid!
Where can I play?
You will be able to play Riders Republic for free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One as well as Xbox Series X|S. Sadly, the free weekend isn’t available for PC.
Will my progress carry over?
Yes, if you decide to buy Riders Republic after the free weekend has concluded, all your progress will carry over. Furthermore, you can also take advantage of a 50% discount when purchasing the game via the PS Store or Xbox Marketplace.
What else should we know?
Ubisoft has collaborated with Prada for a themed event called “Prada Beyond the Line.” The event takes place from Wednesday, February 16th and players will be able to unlock exclusive content such as bikes, snowmobiles, and skins.
In our review of Riders Republic, we said it: “imitates the unbridled feeling of freedom from the Forza Horizon games and perfects it in its own subgenre. If you’re looking for an octane-fuelled romp of a game with guaranteed fun, look no further than Riders Republic. Just be sure to bring your own jukebox.”
