PlayStation could be about to have a big week, if rumours circulating amongst industry members are to be believed.
Last week, Bloomberg reported that PlayStation is set to unveil its Xbox Game Pass competitor service, codenamed “Project Spartacus”, as early as this week. In summary, it looks like the service will combine PS Now and PS Plus into a single package.
Now, Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller has made a tweet also stirring these rumours up:
“Man, looking like it might be a VERY interesting week for PlayStation if even one of the three rumors I’ve heard is true,” the presenter wrote on Twitter. “As such, we’re gonna delay recording PS I Love You XOXO until Thursday.”
Miller previously worked at IGN and has been in the industry for over 15 years. So with the number of contacts he’s had over the years, it’s likely that he isn’t just saying this for clout.
The delay of his podcast recording until Thursday also speaks volumes to this. If true, it seems likely we’ll know more about Spartacus by then.
