Bethesda Announces Fallout 1st: A Premium Membership For Fallout 76

Bethesda has just revealed a premium membership for Fallout 76. Entitled Fallout 1st, Bethesda is promising a range of perks for players.

On its blog the company states: “Ever since Fallout 76 launched, we have consistently worked to improve and evolve the experience based on your feedback. That’s why we’re excited to launch Fallout 1st, a premium membership that offers something players have been asking for since before launch: private worlds for you and select friends. In addition to this huge feature, Fallout 1st also includes a host of exclusive items and membership bonuses, all of which you can find detailed below. And the best part? Fallout 1st is available right now.”

The membership will cost $12.99 for one month, or you can get a year-long subscription for $99.99.

It’s a controversial move for the company considering just how disastrous Fallout 76’s launch was (and all the subsequent issues faced by players). Those who forked out full price for the game last year were left disappointed by sales as the price was slashed to entice new buyers.

Now it seems they’ll have to pay even more for the new perks.
