Some gameplay footage from the upcoming GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition has leaked online from players who have been able to get the game early.
One user especially has uploaded over an hour of footage to YouTube, showcasing gameplay from all three games included in the collection; GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas.
As you can see from the links above and below, the gameplay looks like a massive improvement over the originals. Not only has lighting, textures and draw distance been improved, but the controls and UI has also received a facelift. You can see a GTA 5-style weapon wheel show up at various points.
We already knew these games would be more than just a resolution bump when the trailer was revealed last month. But now seeing the gameplay in motion may help to solidify your pre-order plans.
According to the official website, the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition also includes updated mini-maps, mission checkpoints, modern controls, and new achievements/trophies. If you’re a classic GTA fan or a newcomer, it seems like this is the collection for you.
GTA: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition lands on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch tomorrow via digital. Physical versions are available to purchase too, but won’t be shipping until December. You can even grab yourself a copy from the GameByte shop for a reduced price of £46.95.
