It’s official – Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2 has won Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2020. Perhaps one of the year’s most divisive game, the highly-anticipated title divided fans with its bold narrative choices, yet still provided an exceptional gaming experience.
A stand-out game for its narrative design, graphics and accessibility options, The Last of Us Part 2 is definitely deserving of the coveted Game of the Year Award.
The Last of Us Part 2 was up against some of the greatest games of this generation, including Sucker Punch Productions’ Ghost of Tsushima, and the game we all depending on during lockdown, Nintendo’s Animal Crossing.
A massive congratulations to everyone at Naughty Dog for the award! We can’t wait to see what you come up with next (after our multiplayer expansion, of course!)
