Nintendo Promises More Animal Crossing New Horizons Content Is Coming

Nintendo has promised fans that more Animal Crossing: New Horizons content is currently in development, and it arrives later this year.

The message to fans came via a tweet from Nintendo, announcing that Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be getting a free update tomorrow. The free update which goes live on Thursday, July 29^th will add “Firework Shows and new seasonal items.”

However, that tweet was followed up with a reply informing fans that further free content is in development and is set to release later this year.

“In addition to these updates, more free content for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is currently in development for later this year”, reads the tweet.

Tomorrow’s update will be the first update to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in three months, the last being April 27^th. 

Prior to that update, the game had been updated 17 times since its launch. So, it stands to reason why fans started to get a little concerned with the reduction of content support.

Version 1.11 of Animal Crossing: New Horizons releases on July 29th bringing the Fireworks Show event with minor additions, plus Nook Shopping seasonal events!
