A recent GTA 6 leak has shown what appears to be a female protagonist. As a first in the GTA series, fans are looking forward to this change-up.
Courtesy of thetensedoctor on Reddit, a screenshot has been released showing what appears to be a female protagonist standing in a dimly lit environment. Even though the game is still in its pre-alpha build, we can see some improvements compared to the last time GTA 6 content was leaked.
Previous GTA 6 Leaks
This refers to leaks that were posted online back in September. These included small clips of character animations as well as footage including robbery sequences and full-on shootouts. As a result, over 90 videos were shared by this hacker.
Although you can still find this footage online, the majority of it has been taken down for obvious reasons. This footage looked rough to say the least but this latest screenshot shows how far GTA 6 has come in less than a year.
Latest Leak
As mentioned, this screenshot features a female character standing in what appears to be the back alleys of the city. She has her back to the camera and to her left are a bunch of NPCs (who are looking a little worse for wear at this stage in the build). We see some buildings and vehicles in the background and that’s about it.
Although this doesn’t tell us much, the engine is looking a lot smoother than it did during the previous leaks.
With recent news from an insider that GTA 6 may be arriving sooner than we think, it’s an exciting time for fans of the franchise. Until then, it appears as though leaks are the only source of information we will get.
