After the recent Thor: Love and Thunder trailer and our first like at Jane Foster as Mighty Thor, it seems that the character is also coming to Marvel’s Avengers.
Yesterday (April 19), fans finally got a look at Natalie Portman as Mighty Thor with the first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder. Jane Foster made her first appearance as a new take on Thor in 2014. And now it looks like she will also be appearing as a playable character in Marvel’s Avengers.
While it was somewhat of an understated reveal, Jane Foster’s Thor was confirmed to be the next playable character in the most recent development update for the game.
After discussing some of the updates and changes coming to the game in update 2.4, the post shared that for update 2.5 that “it will introduce a new playable Hero for all platforms: Jane Foster: The Mighty Thor! Our Hero designs are driven first and foremost by their core comic book identities, so, as a fellow wielder of Mjolnir, her suite of abilities will have a lot in common with the Odinson’s, however she will also have elements that are distinctly Jane.”
Details on how Jane will come to life in the game will come at a later date. Other than bearing some similarities to Thor in playstyle, not much else was shared about the character. So we’ll have to wait until we get a proper look at her for more.
